Panasonic Interactive Media is kicking off an online trivia contest and TV spots to promote the Monty Python series of CD-ROMs. The promotion coincides with ``Monty Python's Flying Circus'' series, which recently returned to several Public Service Broadcasting stations around the country.

Online community The Globe is expected to announce today an agreement with EarthLink to offer co-branded Internet access. Co-branded Internet software CD-ROMs will be distributed with theglobe.com as the default home page.
