General Cinemas Theatres and movie guide and ticketing service MovieFone May 5 announced an exclusive agreement to allow General Cinema theatergoers the chance to buy advanced tickets through interactive phone service MovieFone and its sister Web site MovieLink. The deal includes 269 of General Cinema's screens in seven cities: Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia.

Frontier Corp.'s subsidiary Frontier GlobalCenter will begin offering high-speed Internet service, called Internet Cable Express or ICE, for cable companies to offer to their customers. In another announcement, U S West also said it has begun offering high-speed Internet services over traditional copper phone lines in Denver and Boise, Idaho, with rollout through the region later this summer.

JMCP Touch, the interactive unit of Jordan McGrath Case & Partners, New York, has been assigned Pharmacia & Upjohn Co.'s Web marketing business for the Rogaine line of products.
