CNET's Snap!, which is jointly owned by CNET and NBC, kicked off a new version of the Internet portal. Users will be able to switch between different versions of the site tabbed Home, which allows users to search across the Web; local, which searches for local weather and news; or My Snap!, which searches for results and listings only within preselected interests, such as stock quotes, sports scores and horoscopes.
Rare Medium, New York, has opened a Phoenix, Ariz., office and also hired four new executives. Douglas Tower was named director of the Phoenix office; Craig Chesser was named VP-controller in New York; and in the Los Angeles office, Stephen Lee Kehle was named director-business development and Rosalyn Bugg was named executive producer.
Global manufacturer American Standard Cos. has awarded Click Here, Dallas, the interactive affiliate of Richards Group, its interactive business, including a redesign and development of its Web site.
