At Young & Rubicam's Brand Dialogue1 interactive marketing unit, New York office General Manager Anthony Manson was also named general manager-North America; VP-Interactive Marketing Europe Pieter Vijn was named general manager-Europe.

American Computer Group debuted SAFEeps, a Web-based e-mail preference list to help marketers keep away from consumers who don't want unsolicited commercial e-mail. ACG asks marketers to submit a list of consumers over the Internet; ACG then compares the list to its consumer databases from its postal direct mail and telemarketing SAFEeps products, and returns the list to the marketer with names of those who ask not to be solicited removed.
