Microsoft Corp. has launched MSN WomenCentral, an online women's resource that will integrate content from Women.com Networks. Consumer products company Unilever has signed on for a premier sponsorship. A poll of about 1,900 Web users who celebrate Valentine's Day revealed that more than half of them will send an electronic greeting card this year, according to NPD Online Research, Port Washington, N.Y. A majority of respondents--63%--said they would send electronic cards via bluemountain.com. Other popular online greeting card sites include hallmark.com (19%), 123 greetings.com (14%), americangreetings.com (13%) and egreetings.com (12%), the poll found.Web auto-buying service Carsmart signed a premier sponsorship agreement with Infoseek Corp. and Walt Disney Co.'s Go.com, part of the Go Network. Opt-in e-mail marketing company NetCreations picked up the business to build and manage an opt-in e-mail list for get2net, a provider of public Internet access units for airports. Get2net will invite users to its opt-in marketing list through registration forms on its Web pages.
