American News Network, Seattle, will launch a new media planning system aimed at generating ad revenue for the newspaper industry, the division of American Passage Media Corp. announced Thursday at the Newspaper Association of America's annual marketing conference in Atlanta. The free software for media buyers will include rate cards for 1,500 newspapers and other features to facilitate media planning. The company also named Kingsley Anthony exec VP, a new post. He had been president-CEO at Newspapers First, New York.
