Hachette Filipacchi Magazines teamed with French publishing entrepreneur Elizabeth Lefebvre to introduce in the U.S. an English-language edition of Cote Sud, an upscale French home furnishings and design magazine. The premiere issue hits this week with a circulation of 50,000 and 37 ad pages. A page ad costs $8,000, with a $6.95 newsstand cover price. The second U.S. edition is planned for spring 1996.
