Nickelodeon launches interactive mag for parents and kids

Nickelodeon will debut this month a new title, Nick Jr. Magazine, the company's first publication for parents. The fall 1999 issue will be distributed to preschools nationwide and will also be available at bookstores, newsstands and through subscription. Beginning in February, the magazine will be published every other month with a 500,000 rate base. Advertisers in the first issue include Ralph Lauren, National Fluid Milk Processors Board, General Mills and Oscar Mayer Foods.
