NicoDerm CQ readies $35 mil launch

A $30 million to $35 million campaign behind SmithKline Beecham and Hoechst Marion Roussel's nicotine patch, NicoDerm CQ, is expected to hit by mid-August from Jordan, McGrath, Case & Taylor, New York. NicoDerm, with nearly 40% of the prescription market, was cleared by FDA for over-the-counter use late last week. It follows Johnson & Johnson's Nicotrol.
