Nielsen to measure housewares

A.C. Nielsen and the National Housewares Manufacturers Association announced a partnership to provide syndicated point-of-sale data to the housewares industry. The industry-wide initiative will increase access to and use of data generated by the Universal Product Codes scanned at a retailer's checkout, according to Phil Brandl, NHMA director-marketing and trade development.
