Nike adds Hardaway

Orlando Magic star Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway will be featured in new Nike TV spots breaking Nov. 4, opening day for the National Basketball Association. The "Big Penny, Lil' Penny" campaign also features a mechanical character that bears the likeness of Hardaway, but acts as his rambunctious alter-ego in three humorous spots. Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., is the agency.
