Nike ads debut in All-Star game

Published on .

Nike launches a new campaign tonight from Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., in support of its baseball business. The campaign addresses a litany of common complaints about the sport, ranging from "the best athletes don't play baseball" to "the games are too long." Each 15-second spot features a retort from a Major League Baseball star and the tagline "Got a problem with baseball? Move to Norway." Six of the 15 spots will air tonight during Fox Broadcasting's telecast of the 1997 MLB All-Star Game. The campaign runs through Aug. 15.
