Norwegian public transport firm awards account

Published on .

OSLO--Norway's largest public transport company, NSB Persontrafikk, has named Oslo-based ad agency Schjelderup-Lund Bendixen & Partners as its new lead agency. The $4 million account was previously held by Leo Burnett Co.

"This is the single biggest account the agency has ever managed and it represents a landmark in our history," says Managing Director Harald Schjelderup-Lund. "This is the kind of first major account any agency would give their right arm for."

The account will double Schjelderup-Lund Bendixen & Partners' billings in 1999. The agency's client list includes Posten Brev (post office), Sparebanken NOR, the newspaper Aftenposten and Telenor Link.
