NYC delays tobacco ad bans

New York City agreed to delay enforcement of new restrictions on tobacco advertising for 90 days while the U.S. District Court hears First Amendment challenges raised by advertising and retailing groups. New York's ordinance is the most sweeping ban on tobacco ads in the country, prohibiting almost all tobacco ads except those on taxis.
