Published on .

NYNEX launched a site called the NYNEX Technotorium on The New York Times' service on America Online. The site, created by NYNEX with agency TBWA Chiat/Day, features an auditorium for speakers, a bulletin board for technology issues, a section just for kids and information about technology-related conferences. Howard Stringer, chairman of Tele-TV, the new media consortium formed by NYNEX, Bell Atlantic and Pacific Telesis, will be the first of its speakers to field technology questions on its auditorium on Sept. 21.
