The New York Times Electronic Media Co. next year will unveil a personalized research area for users of its site. As part of the deal, the Times has entered into a three-month trial of the new area with research company Find/SVP. Users can submit questions in any of ten topics including money and investments, work and career and family and relationships. Within a couple days users will receive information via e-mail from Find/SVP researchers. "This is a unique opportunity to provide our thoughtful and intellectually curious audience with access to a team of reference specialists," said Martin Nisenholtz, president of The New York Times Electronic Media Co., in a press release. "The questions may prove to be as interesting as the answers."
