O.J. Simpson is said to be negotiating an infomercial deal to sell a video explaining his innocence, according to the New York Daily News
. Industry insiders say that Mr. Simpson--who depleted nearly all his funds in paying for his defense--is negotiating a deal with Tony Hoffman, president of infomercial company Maui Productions. Mr. Hoffman could not be reached for comment. Mr. Simpson supposedly shopped his video around to two infomercial companies prior to Maui who both turned the project down for ethical reasons.
