Most recently, Westlake worked at Star TV in Hong Kong as senior executive for research and sales planning. Previously, he worked in print media sales for Home Counties Newspapers in the U.K., before leaving for Asia and joining Sydney media research boutique Precise Data Research.
In his new role, Westlake will also be building a "Brand Bank" knowledge center, "to capitalize on Asian clients' growing thirst for pan-regional brand communications," says Miles Young, O&M president Asia Pacific. The agency says Westlake has a "solid understanding of the operating environment in which clients and media function across the region."
