O Site goes online in Brazil

SAO PAULO--Argentine group El Sitio is challenging Starmedia, ZAZ and UOL Web sites in Brazil with the launch of a new portal and entertainment site, O Site.

A multimedia campaign will run through Denison Brasil, Sao Paulo, part of a total $15 million promotional push in the region, including Mexico and Argentina.

Marcos Aranha, a former Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide executive, is the Brazilian company's president and Eduardo Vergeiro, formerly in the commercialdepartment of publishing company Atol, is thecommercial director.
