Office Depot asked to pull ads

Published on .

A conservative group called the Club for Growth is complaining that Office Depot's latest school-oriented spots from Gold Coast Advertising Associates, Miami, wrongly suggest that school funding is decreasing and that student-teacher ratios have been rising. In a letter to Office Depot, Club for Growth President Stephen Moore said the answer to school problems isn't more money but giving parents a chance to use vouchers to send their kids to private school. The letter asks withdrawal of the ads. Office Depot wasn't available for comment.
