Office.com opens doors as business resource

Office.com, a Web business resource, launches today. The site--two-thirds owned by WinStar Communications and one-third owned by CBS Corp.--provides content, products and communications resources. A business-search feature, for example, delivers competitive information on public and private companies. Content and information, via partnerships with companies including Stamps.com, Barnes & Noble, OfficeMax and CBS Marketwatch, are accessed directly on Office.com's site. A multimillion-dollar TV, radio, print and outdoor consumer campaign from Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York, breaks early next year.
