The Olympics for the first time will sell advertising on the official games site under a plan to be announced the week of Sept. 13. Advertising will run on sydney.olympic.org
, a site developed by IBM Corp. and the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games. The Sydney Olympics contracted with Phase2Media, New York, to represent the site to advertisers. The Sydney Games open one year from Wednesday, Sept. 15.
