(June 20, 2001) HONG KONG -- WPP Group's Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide has appointed Justin Stephenson as regional business director, Asia/Pacific in Hong Kong, to succeed David Mayo, who is now running O&M's guerrilla marketing unit, Red Card, in Singapore.

Mr. Stephenson will work with two major O&M clients -- KFC, a division of Tricon Global Restaurants, and Cerebos, a Singapore-based foods group owned by Japanese beverage group Suntory, which is best-known for its popular BRAND's Essence of Chicken.

He is "deeply familiar with the KFC brand, the client, and the strategy we are pursuing to grow the business. His fast moving consumer goods experience will be relevant to the Cerebos assignment," said Jaime Prieto, client service director at O&M Asia/Pacific based in Hong Kong.

Previously, Mr. Stephenson worked at O&M, Toronto, where he was group account director for KFC, Unilever Canada and Deloitte & Touche. Before that, he was an account director for Procter & Gamble Co. brands at Grey Worldwide, Toronto. -- Normandy Madden
