Ogilvy & Mather wins $10 million telecoms business

CALGARY--Ogilvy & Mather, Calgary,has picked up a $10 million media buyingaccount from Telus Corp. of Edmonton.Telus moved its business after just twoyears, awarding its account to Baron Communications Ltd., also of Calgary. O&Malso has Telus' $7.5 million long-distanceand consumer marketing account. Companyofficials say the move had nothing to dowith Baron's performance. They said theywanted to take advantage of O&M's nationalbuying power.
