OgilvyInteractive jump-starts Digital Syndicate with JumpCut

JumpCut, an interactive live media programming company, will be a member of the newly formed OgilvyInteractive Digital Syndicate, a consortium of Web marketing companies. By joining, OgilvyInteractive, New York, makes JumpCut the exclusive multimedia and digital imaging service and media delivery provider for the agency, serving the agency's clients worldwide as well as the internal multimedia needs of OgilvyInteractive. JumpCut specializes in Webcasting live video, chat, animation and slide presentations. In related news, OglivyInteractive's new Application Lab is launching a joint venture with I-Link, an enhanced voice and data service provider, to provide a way for Web sites to add voice phone communication. IBM Corp. is assisting in the venture, providing software and hardware.
