Ohlmeyer on Simpson Dateline decision

Published on .

NBC President-West Coast Don Ohlmeyer told Electronic Media he played only a small part in last week's aborted ``Dateline NBC'' interview involving O.J. Simpson, his friend of 27 years. ``There is a two-step process here,'' Mr. Ohlmeyer said. ``O.J. made a decision that he wanted to talk about these things, and he and I had a conversation about that...O.J. doing an interview was not my idea.
