General Motors' Oldsmobile division's Eighty-eight sedan will sponsor "The Walking Club" on Women's Wire starting May 1. The effort is supported by banners on the site. Giant Step, Chicago, handles Oldsmobile. Separately, Olds kicked off a four-month exclusive sponsorship last week of two microsites on The New York Times
. Olds Aurora sponsors the new "Gourmet Traveler" area and the Intrigue sponsors "Authors of Intrigue." Giant Step worked with the newspaper to create co-branded banners to help drive people to the microsite from the main area of the site.
