Published on .

The United States Olympic Committee and Portland, Ore.-based Web developer Creative Multimedia will launch a Web site Aug. 6 that will be the definitive U.S. Olympics site for sports fans, the Olympic Family, athletes and coaches. Features on the site will include a history of the USOC and its corporate sponsors, information on past and future Olympics Games, and an area called ``Sports A-Z,''sponsored by the Sporting Goods Manufacturing Association, that highlights the 46 current Olympic and Pan American sports with links to their respective organizations. There will also be an online store and a Olympic News Network with daily updates on Olympics events.
