research units from its three core agencies, DDB Worldwide, BBDO Worldwide and TBWA Worldwide, into its OMD media buying unit is imminent.

Insiders expect a formal announcement within 10 days. Representatives of DDB, BBDO and TBWA referred calls to OMD, which was not immediately available for comment.

An Omnicom spokeswoman said nothing has changed since December, when OMD President-CEO Joe Uva first announced intentions to make OMD a full-service media agency.
