Published on .

Springer & Jacoby, Germany's ninth-largest ad agency and the country's biggest independent, is in talks with Omnicom Group, New York, about selling a minority interest to the U.S. holding company, said a spokeswoman for the Hamburg-based shop. An Omnicom spokeswoman would say only: "We don't comment on rumors." Springer & Jacoby is looking for ways to work for longtime client Mercedes-Benz internationally.
