Omnicom net up 21%

Omnicom Group, New York, said net income for the first quarter of 1996 increased 21% over a year ago to $30.5 million. Worldwide revenues from commission and fee income increased 14% to $567 million in the quarter. Domestic revenues increased 16% to $299.6 million; international revenues increased 11% to $267.4 million. Omnicom is the holding company for DDB Needham, BBDO and other ad agencies.
