OneFN STUDY TRACKS CONSUMER ONLINE TRADING

(Aug. 28, 2001) -- A new survey of the audience of financial services network OneFN, conducted by Millward Brown IntelliQuest, showed that despite the decline in the total volume of online trading, 61% of the respondents conducted more than 50% of the trading activity online.

While 69% of the respondents make one to five transactions per month with online brokerages, 10% indicated that they make more than 20 transactions monthly. This contrasts with 44% who go online for financial information but continue to trade only through a traditional broker. -- Adrienne Mand
