Online growth

Jupiter Communications predicts the number of online households worldwide will grow from 23.4 million this year to 66.6 million by 2000. The consultancy said Japan, Germany and the U.K. are front-runners for growth. By yea-end 1996 only 15% of all U.S. households will be online. The North American Internet population is predicted to grow from 15.4 million to 38.2 million between 1996 and 2000.
