Lands' End and Victoria's Secret tied for the No. 1 spot in a survey released today listing the top 10 online catalog sellers. The study, sponsored by Octane Software, San Mateo, Calif., evaluated Internet customer service capabilities ranging from accessibility to product information and shopping assistance. Unique to Lands' End's site was its personal model tool allowing customers to input their height, hair color and size so they can "try on'' clothing. The Victoria's Secret site was acknowledged for its easy-to-access customer service pages. The study is part of an ongoing project by graduate students in the telecommunications and e-commerce program at Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management and can be viewed at (www.SupportZone.com)
