A significant number of Americans are showing increased acceptance and interest in shopping online, according to new data released by FIND/SVP Worldwide Consulting & Research at the Web Marketplace Conference in Chicago. Although only 19% of Internet users in the U.S. have actually shopped online, a majority (59%) expressed interest in making online purchases, the report said, adding that willingness to spend online is prevalent among all age groups, from 18 to 50-plus.
