(July 17, 2001) -- The Walt Disney Internet Group and OnStar have inked a deal to bring ESPN.com, Disney.com and ABCNews.com content to OnStar subscribers over OnStar's new Virtual Advisor service.

Launched six months ago, Virtual Advisor combines wireless communications, voice recognition and text-to-speech technology to provide personalized content in voice-activated audio.

Content will include ESPN.com's SportsCenter Update; hourly headline news reports, sports scores and World News Tonight audiocasts from ABCNews.com; Bill Diehl's entertatinment news from ABCNews.com; and Disney.com's fun facts, safety times and ESPN Sports for Kids. -- Adrienne Mand
