Oracle unveils NC standard

Oracle Corp. officially launches its Network Computer standard June 24 at a media event in New York, to be teased next week with a $500,000 outdoor board and taxi campaign in the city coinciding with PC Expo. Oracle this fall begins its major NC ad push with two TV spots, one aimed at business and one at consumers, retaining the Oracle tag, "Enabling the information age." Fathom, Los Angeles, handles.
