Orbitz air-fare site taps Jacobs as CMOOrbitz, the yet-to-be-launched low-fare Web site backed by leading airlines, has tapped Roland Jacobs, formerly of DigitalWork.com, to serve as chief marketing officer. Orbitz was scheduled to launch this fall, but has postponed its debut until June. Founding airlines include American, Continental, Delta, Northwest and United.
