SAN FRANCISCO (AdAge.com) -- Search consultancy Select Resources International has changed ownership.

Founder Mike Agate, 68, who was chairman-CEO, is taking the role of chairman emeritus. Catherine Bension, 50, who served as president-chief operating officer, has become the majority stockholder and will hold the title of president-CEO.

Russel Wohlwerth, 46, a co-owner with the minority stake, takes the title of principal.

The agency, based in West Hollywood, Calif., has grown beyond its West Coast roots, handling reviews for some of the nation's leading marketers, from Hewlett-Packard to Hyundai.

Ms. Bension said the consultancy will continue expanding its role with global clients beyond reviews to include client and agency relationship management, compensation and performance feedback.
