Oxygen, Markle to conduct women's market research

Published on .

Internet and TV-based women's network Oxygen Media and the Markle Foundation, a private, non-profit philanthropy, are teaming up to launch a research initiative called the Oxygen/Markle Pulse. The initiative will track and measure women's opinions, attitudes, needs and values. The research will be conducted by opinion research company Penn-Schoen & Berland and will be made available through Oxygen.com. Oxygen Media will contribute at least $5.3 million to this initiative. The Markle Foundation's support will total up to $4.5 million over three years (up to $3.5 million for the Pulse, and up to $1 million for the Experimental Fund).
