P&G ad asks patience over lack of Bounty

Procter & Gamble Co. on Monday runs a half-page ad in USA Today, asking consumers to be patient about shortages of its Bounty paper towels. P&G put retailers on allocation for Bounty in January as rising demand maximized production capacity, said a P&G spokesman. The ad is from Burston Marsteller, Chicago.
