P&G, CBS and Louis Gossett Jr. to make TV movies

Procter & Gamble Co. announced today it will make a series of TV movies for CBS in conjuction with Logo Entertainment, a production company owned by Academy Award-winning actor Louis Gossett Jr. In a statement about the two-year deal, Robert Wehling, senior VP-global marketing officer at P&G, said, "Our aim is to produce family oriented TV movies that will appeal to a broad audience while maintaining a high standard of quality.'' P&G is one of 23 advertisers who are members of the Forum for Responsible Advertisers, an organization started by Johnson & Johnson to support family programming.
