Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, has named one of its top executives, R. Kerry Clark, 48, president-global market development organizations and business operations, giving him added responsibilities overseeing business support services and some information technology operations. The new duties come in addition to Mr. Clark's previous role heading P&G's global market development organization, which includes regional marketing efforts andsales teams. Mr. Clark, who formerly headed P&G's North American laundry and home cleaning business, its Asian business and its feminine care business, is widely believed to be the frontrunner to someday succeed President-CEO A.G.
