P&G elevates execs

Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati, is undergoing a changing of the guard in its global skincare and haircare businesses, the first moves in a second wave of changes in P&G's Organization 2005 restructuring. Susan E. Arnold, 45, moves to president-global skincare from VP-North America fabric care. She succeeds Robert T. Blanchard, 54, president-global skincare and cosmetics, who will retire. Martin J. Nuechtern, 45, becomes president-global haircare, succeeding John O'Keeffe, 49, who will retire. Mr. Nuechtern currently is president-ASEAN, Australasia and India. Separately, Robert A. McDonald, 45, rises to president-Northeast Asia from VP-Northeast Asia. Also retiring is Claude L. Meyer, 55, president of Europe, Middle East and Africa-special projects.
