Procter & Gamble, after more than a year, is closing down its Evansville, Ind., test of Oil of Olay cosmetics, which a company spokeswoman said "did well and met our objectives." As part of its study of the potential global brand, the company will now focus on a new U.K. test market that opened in August. "Our next move will be decided once we are out of the UK test," the spokeswoman said. That test is expected to last up to a year.
