P&G in two laundry tests

Procter & Gamble Co. is beginning two test markets of laundry products, both viaSaatchi & Saatchi Advertising, New York. In Cincinnati-Dayton, it is introducingthe three-product line of Tide Treatments, which includes Tide Treatments SockSoak, Spotter and Activated Bleach. These are the company's first entry in thissegment of laundry care. In New York, it will test Ultra Bonus, a liquid laundrydetergent with stain removal aimed at the lower-price brand shopper andcompetitive with Purex and Arm & Hammmer.
