Diageo's Pillsbury Co., Minneapolis, named John Lilly, 44, president of Pillsbury North America, its largest operating unit, succeeding Rick Lenny, who left in February to become president, Nabisco Biscuit Co. A longtime Procter & Gamble Co. executive, Mr. Lilly has extensive experience in food and beverage operations, including posts as P&G VP-general manager, U.S. juice products, general manager-olestra division, and advertising manager, U.S. cookies, baking mixes and salted snacks. Most recently, his concentration has been in Europe, first as regional VP-paper products, Europe, and then as regional VP for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. At Pillsbury North America, a $4.4 billion unit, Mr. Lilly will work with at least one agency from the P&G roster, Leo Burnett
Co., Chicago. Also on Pillsbury's roster is Partners & Shevack, New York, and Foote, Cone & Belding, San Francisco.
