Pac Bell breaks Goodby work

SBC Communications' Pacific Bell, San Ramon, Calif., this month takes aim at telemarketers in an estimated $15 million TV campaign for its caller identification service. Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, created the campaign, tagged "The phone is once again your friend." The campaign is the first since SBC assigned Pac Bell to Goodby.
