PacBell trims list

Pacific Bell has narrowed the list of contenders for its $25 million to $30 million Personal Communications Services account to 12 agencies: Ammirati & Puris/Lintas, Korey Kay and Ogilvy & Mather, all New York; Dahlin Smith White, Salt Lake City; Anderson & Lembke, Goldberg Moser O'Neill, Goodby, Berlin & Silverstein, Highway One, Hoffman/Lewis, Ketchum Advertising and Odiorne Wilde Narraway & Groome, all San Francisco; and Rubin Postaer, Santa Monica, Calif. The group will be narrowed to four finalists, with a decision expected by the end of March.
