Packard Bell, Sacramento, Calif., is breaking a campaign in newspapers this week billing itself as "The world's No. 1 selling home computer." The ads, emphasizing models' features and prices, have the look of traditional PC advertising. Packard Bell, long reliant on retailer co-op advertising, earlier this year hired M&C Saatchi, New York, to handle product advertising.
